Reaffirming that his recovery from a recent surgery is “progressing very well,” Bob Seger is eyeing rescheduled tour dates — and in the meantime, he’s also offering fans a sneak peek at his upcoming I Knew You When album.

As previously reported, Seger was forced to postpone a series of shows in order to deal with what was described as an “urgent medical issue” last month. Not long after leaving the road, Seger assured fans he was already on the mend, explaining that he’d had to undergo surgery to deal with a vertebrae that was pinching a nerve in his neck, but that it “couldn’t have gone better.”
